Back in 2017, Golf superstar Tiger Woods was said to have painkillers, sleep drugs and an ingredient active in marijuana in his body when Florida police arrested him during a DUI arrest.
The 15-time major champion also had severe injuries he suffered to his right leg and foot in a car wreck outside Los Angeles in February 2021.
Things that Woods has had to deal with is being brought back up this week after the wife another golfer ripped him on social media. Pat Perez, who plays on the LIV Golf tour, has blasted Woods several times over the past couple of months, and now his wife is doing the same.
“literally why driving under the influence is ILLEGAL. I don’t feel bad for him. Thank god he didn’t kill anyone. See ya,” she wrote on social media.
Woods admitted that he feared he was going to lose his right leg via amputation after the accident, but Ashley Perez clearly doesn’t feel bad for him.
As for her husband, Perez, disagreed with Tiger’s comments on LIV Golf and the motivation for players.
“That’s the stupidest sh-t I have ever heard of in my life,” Perez said on Butch Harmon’s podcast. “That’s one of the stupidest things I think he has said. The incentive is the fact that last place is 120,000, first place is four million. You cannot win four million on the PGA Tour.”
Pat Perez earned $8 million by playing in just seven LIV events this year with an average finish of 32nd place.
