Major League Baseball suspended action until April 9th after the NBA suspended their season following the positive test of COVID-19 of Rudy Gobert.
Commissioner Rob Manfred and the league’s owners held a conference call earlier this week to formalize the plan.

MLB had been scheduled to open its season March 26, with all 30 teams in action.
