Meghan King revealed she tested positive for coronavirus and explained how she thinks she contracted the illness seven months after estranged husband Jim Edmonds‘ diagnosis.
“I tested positive for Covid,” the Real Housewives of Orange County alum wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, November 15. “I have been safe while traveling but I had an exchange on Tuesday where I did not protect myself and this is when I had to have been infected. I have been safe with distancing and masks since Tuesday including when I went to dinner solo and stayed distant and wore a mask at Hayes’s soccer.”
Retired MLB star Jim Edmonds is reportedly ‘pissed’ that his estranged wife was acting reckless, claiming she was partying and not having the proper PPE on that is putting their family at risk.
“Jim’s rep, Steve Honig, tells TMZ … Jim thinks Meghan has a lot of explaining to do because she attended a major Halloween event in St. Louis before jetting down to Miami, where she continued to party.”
The report continued:
“A source close to the situation claims Meghan came over to Jim’s house after her Miami trip to pick up their kids … after allegedly being exposed to the virus. The source claims Meghan was hugging and kissing the kids, putting not only their children at risk, but also Jim’s girlfriend.
Our source claims Meghan’s lying about the timing of everything to make it seem like her reckless partying has nothing to do with her positive COVID diagnosis.”
Jim reportedly reached out and expressed disappointment with her lack of responsibility.
Meghan has been answering fan questions about her contracting the deadly disease:
