For the first time since forever, the New York Yankees will enter a season where they are not the most disliked team by opposing fan bases. They title now belongs to the Houston Astros after the massive cheating scandal that rocked the sport earlier this year.
On Tuesday, the team was facing the Kansas City Royals when pitcher Jorge Lopez beaned Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman in the second inning. It resulted in two runs being scored.
Even still, social media applauded it.
