On Sunday, Yankees fans were riled up and ready to boo a player during Sunday’s spring training exhibition against the Blue Jays.
Toronto’s Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was met with “cheater” chants in Tampa after the crowd mistakenly thought he was his brother Yuli, an infielder for the Houston Astros. Yuli was part of the 2017 championship Astros team that beat the Yankees in the ALCS.
