Greg Hardy hasn’t felt a hit like this since…well, his last fight. The former Carolina defensive end badly needed a win on Saturday night against Tai Tuivasa, but he could only last one minute.
After taking his third lost in five fights, Hardy took to Instagram and showed off his battered face while promising to return to winning form and push forward.
“Talk n shit all 2021. It’s mevsme I have to stop making rookie mistakes. There is not F N excuse for that Ish but my real ones know you can’t kill the kraken and you for damn sure can’t kill the prince. So bring it. I’ll be back. Thank you to the @ufc and good shit by @bambamtuivasa all respect and great win.”
As far as his opponent, Tai Tuivasa celebrated his knockout victory over Greg Hardy in their heavyweight bout at UFC 264 by chugging a beer out of the shoe from the top of the cage. It is Tuivasa’s third consecutive win.
Hardy is on a two-right losing streak. He has not won since beat Maurice Greene by technical knockout at UFC Fight Night 181.
