After winning a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe this weekend, becoming the second active athlete ever to win the competition, the Golden State Warriors star attended a sold-out Drake show in Brooklyn on Monday.
The popular rapper took a moment during his latest It’s All A Blur tour stop to shout out the Golden State Warriors superstar, who attended the show alongside his wife Ayesha Curry. Drizzy performed for a sold-out crowd at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Monday night and took a moment mid-show to send some love to the four-time NBA champion.
“I got my brother in the building tonight. They say we look alike,” Drake said. “Make some noise for my brother Steph Curry in the building one time. And of course, the lovely Ayesha Curry. And mama bear, you know.”
Many people couldn’t help but notice the way Ayesha seemed upset at the moment.
Social media started calling her out for being a hater and jealous:
Drake and Steph Curry have been friends for years, despite the Raptors beating the Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals.
Stephen Curry averaged 29.4 points, 6.3 assists, and 6.1 rebounds in 56 games in 2022-23. He was selected to play in his ninth All-Star game.
The Warriors found themselves in unfamiliar territory after they were eliminated from the playoffs by the Lakers in six games.
