Just terrible news to wake up to after reports started surfacing that a former ballplayer had lost his life at a young age.
On Monday morning, it was reported that former NBA player Adreian Payne had tragically lost his life. He was just 31-years-old.
No details have been released about his death, but comments on social media are stating he was shot and killed in Florida.
The former Spartan played four seasons for the Spartans and was a first round pick of the Atlanta Hawks in the 2015 NBA draft.
Payne went on to play for the Hawks, Timberwolves and Magic.
