A true blast from the past.
Amar’e Stoudemire and Monta Ellis are trying to get back into the NBA.
After retiring from the NBA in 2016, Amare Stoudemire went overseas to play for Hapoel Jerusalem, but things would quickly sour and he would retire in 2017. He then began to play in Ice Cube’s BIG3 league. During his last season in the league, Stoudemire averaged 5.8 points and 4.3 rebounds for the Miami Heat during 2015-2016 season.
At the conclusion of the 2016-17 season, Monta Ellis was waived by the Indiana Pacers and wouldn’t be signed by another team ever since. Ellis averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists across two seasons in Indiana.
