Richard Jefferson is certainly starting to embrace the villain role on television.
The former NBA player was in the midst of listening about how Tim Duncan coached the Spurs to a win while Gregg Popovich was out for personal reasons, when he made a shocking claim about him.
Jefferson turned some heads when he stated Duncan had been carried his entire life, and he gets no credit for coaching the Spurs to a win because he really didn’t do anything.
That was enough for Jay Williams to get his things and walk off set.
“Tim Duncan has been carried by people his entire life,” Jefferson said.
“He’s a waste of a player, waste of time, he’s the reason the Spurs are struggling this year,” he added as Williams walked away from the table.
Jefferson played for the Spurs from 2009 to 2012.
