Some people truly take sports way too seriously.
Police arrested a man Saturday after investigators say he shot at his neighbor’s house following an argument over Alabama’s 52-49 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers.
Ricky Franks Jr., 33, was charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied building.
According to WAFF, police say Franks was involved in an argument with his neighbor following the Alabama game, the Tide’s first loss to Tennessee since 2006.
“Franks Jr. then allegedly left the neighbor’s home following a verbal argument and fired a shotgun at the home.
The house was hit but no one inside was injured in the shooting. Officers with the Florence Police Department responded to the incident and arrested Franks Jr. without any further incident.”
The Crimson Tide fell to the Volunteers 52-49 on a field goal as time expired. The fans rushed the field, then took to the goal posts out of the stadium.
Franks Jr. was released on a $30,000 bond.
