Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi Iis having the time of his life and he deserves it.
The Cleveland browns wide receiver didn’t receive a scholarship from Phoenix College in 2016 and had no interest from teams to take him as a transfer, so he decided to turn pro. CFL and Arena Football tryouts failed, so he decided he would lie his way to the top.
Damon traveled from Arizona to Florida even though he did not have an invite to be at an NFL workout there. His determination would stem with him using vice president of player personnel Alonzo Highsmith as his ticket into the event. He did not know him personally, but that wouldn’t stop him from pretending that he did.
It worked out.
On Thursday night, he returned a punt for a touchdown.
The Browns would go on to sign him in April and was considered a massive long shot to actually make the team. I think he just made a helluva good start to making it actually happen.
