Texas A&M shocked the nation on Saturday night in College Station as they knocked off the No. 1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide 41-38 thanks to a last-second field goal from Seth Small.
The fan base went insane as thousands of them jumped from the stands and flooded the field. On Monday, however, the school paid for it dearly as the SEC announced a hefty fine for the Aggies. The school has been fined $100,000 for having fans rush the field:

Moments like this are common following upset wins over Alabama. The last time an Alabama road loss was not followed by fans rushing the field was 2010 when South Carolina ended a 19-game Crimson Tide winning streak.
The policy was originally adopted in 2004. Alabama has not been fined for this violation. The only three others who haven’t been dinged for this are Florida, Georgia and Mississippi State.
