Just like the National Football League took some innovative ideas from the first installment of the XFL, they need to do the same with the Alliance of American Football.
On Sunday, the Atlanta Legends found themselves down 16 points in the 4th quarter, with less than two minutes to play.
After scoring a touchdown, the team elected to go for an onside kick, which isn’t an actual kick, but rather teams have the option of taking a 4th-and-12th at their own 28-yard-line.
The Legends completed it for the first time in league history and it was glorious.
Make this 4th-and-20 and I’m all for having this in the NFL.
