
There is no doubt in anybody’s mind that the officials cost the New Orleans Saints a trip to the Super Bowl in Atlanta. THEY WERE ROBBED.
During Sunday’s NFC Championship Game, Drew Brees’ third-down pass to Tommylee Lewis fell incomplete, not because he dropped the pass or it was a bad pass, but because Nickell Robey-Coleman committed the most obvious pass interference in the history of the league.
A ref was standing right there and he called nothing.
It turns out it was more than one ref that should should be getting killed for that missed play. A fan video from the stands shows that a second ref was right there on top of the action and it makes the missed call that much worse.
