Roethlisberger was happy seeing fourth-year wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster be so welcoming to Chase Claypool’s four-touchdown performance that he praised the both of them to reporters. In doing so, he appeared to take a jab at Brown.
“It made me really proud and really happy to have selfless guys that care more about the win than their stats,” Roethlisberger said.

Brown was famously upset by fellow wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster winning the Steelers’ 2018 team MVP award. In response to a fan who tweeted at Brown with a message about Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster winning the team’s MVP award, Brown responded by throwing shade at Smith-Schuster.
“Emotion: boy fumbled the whole post season in the biggest game of year !” Brown wrote Sunday in a message posted to his verified Twitter account. “Everyone went blind to busy making guys famous not enough reality these days !”
