Even though the NFL had to hold the Draft virtually for the first time ever, it turned out to be better than expected as fans were treated to some awesome moments from draftees and their loved ones who surrounded them.
One of the most talked about moments was the Worldwide Leader telling several heartbreaking stories about tragic deaths in the families of the players drafted, which had people thinking they were going way over the top and getting too personal.
“I understand everybody has a story & motivation, but ESPN doesn’t have to highlight the worst moment that happens in some of these folks lives. Am I tripping?” he wrote.

Aside from reminding people that death is part of life, ESPN did a tremendous job during the 2020 NFL Draft.
