Who could’ve seen this coming??
For the better part of ten years, Clay Matthews had been a staple of the Green Bay Packers defense, but that will no longer be the case after the linebacker agreed to a deal to sign with the Los Angeles Rams.
Matthews, who grew up in Southern California and walked on at USC, signaled his return to Los Angeles on his Twitter account.
The deal is worth a maximum of $16.75 million, the NFL Network reported.
Matthews registered only 3.5 sacks during the 2018 season, the lowest single-season total of his career.
