WHOA!
Just under an hour after it was reported that several members of the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys had tested positive for the coronavirus, we received a name of one person who contracted the disease.
It was Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott:
His agent says Elliott is reportedly feeling good.
Rapoport adds none of the players are believed to have been at their respective team facilities and the teams have followed the proper health protocols.
Ezekiel Elliott has been a dominating force since coming into the league as the fourth overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.
He led the league in rush attempts and yards right out of the gate as a rookie and has led the league in rushing yards per game in three of his first four seasons.
During the 2019 season, Elliott ended up finishing the season with 1,357 rushing yards (4.5 yards per attempt) and 12 touchdowns.
