The Carolina Panthers have hired former Indianapolis Colts coach Frank Reich as their new head coach.
The team made the announcement on social media.
Reich has history with the team as he threw the first touchdown pass in Panthers history back in 1995.

Reich gets the job ahead of interim HC Steve Wilks, who finished with an impressive 6-6 record.
In five seasons in Indianapolis, Reich finished with a record of 40-33-1 with two playoff appearances and a 1-2 postseason record.
