Allen Robinson and the Bears did not agree to a contract extension before the start of the 2020 season, much to the chagrin of Bears fans everywhere, and now things have seemingly gotten worse.
Receiver Allen Robinson recently scrubbed the Chicago Bears from his social media profiles, suggesting he is upset about his current situation or he wants out completely.
The 27-year-old is in the final year of a three-year contract.
Robinson also “liked” a few Tweets recently that suggests he may be wanting out of Chicago.
Not only have the fan base lobbied for the franchise to sign him, his teammates are now doing the same.
Even fantasy football analyst Adam Rank wants him extended:
The former Pro-Bowl receiver signed a three-year, $42 million deal at age 24 from Jacksonville, ensuring he would be able to sign another lucrative deal while very much still in his prime.
That has not happened as of yet.
In two full seasons, Robinson has totaled 153 catches for 1,901 yards and 11 touchdowns.
