The situation between Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys front office seems be getting worse and worse by the day.
Following the Dallas Cowboys victory in Hawaii in their second preseason game, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made a “Zeke who?” following Tony Pollard’s excellent preseason performance. He thought it was funny, but Zeke and his agent did not find it as such.
“I didn’t think it was funny and neither did Zeke — we actually thought it was disrespectful,” Rocky Arceneaux told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Stephen Jones seems to be escalating rhetoric against that agent of the holdout running back Ezekiel Elliott.
The Dallas Cowboys executive vice president, even though he didn’t Zeke’s agent by name, suggested that some agents aren’t pursuing the same interests as the players should be.
Elliott continues to train in Cabo while holding out from the Cowboys as the regular season approaches.
