The last thing the Dallas Cowboys fan base wanted to see was Dak Prescott throwing interceptions in training camp after the season he just had in 2022.
Prescott threw 23 touchdowns against 15 interceptions over 12 games last season. Prescott has thrown double-digit touchdowns four times over his seven seasons in the NFL.
His issues continued this week when footage from training camp showed him tossing to a sixth-round draft pick. to be fair, the pass was perfect, but the wide receiver had the ball bounce off his hands.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback was recently quoted as saying “I won’t have 10 interceptions this year.”

A story posted on the Cowboys’ team website said Prescott was misquoted. Per the team, Prescott said he wouldn’t have any tipped interceptions — ones that deflect off of Cowboys wide receivers and into the arms of the opposition — in 2023.
The video above is not a good start. Keeping all types of interceptions down in 2023 would be huge for Prescott.
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a season in where they won 12 games and defeated the Tampa Bay Bucs in the Wild Card round, but they got bounced off for the second-straight season by the San Francisco 49ers.
