Monday was not a good day for the Dallas Cowboys.
During the team’s first padded practice, wide receiver James Washington went down with a lower leg injury and had to be carted off as a result.
Washington will miss “at least” two months with a fractured foot, according to Clarence Hill Jr. He will have surgery to address the issue.
To make matters worse, they would then suffer an injury in the secondary when Dallas defensive back Jayron Kearse struggled to put weight on his leg following a play.
Fortunately for him, Kearse was able to return to the field.
In 2021, Washington appeared in 15 games for the Steelers and caught 24 passes for 285 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
