A change of venue to Mexico City for “Monday Night Football” this week didn’t stop fans from throwing shots at ESPN’s Booger McFarland over his questionable commentary.
This time around was much different, because Pro Bowl Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davonte Adams couldn’t help but to join in and talk about his ramblings.
Fellow Pro Bowl wideout Stefon Diggs was another player that took noticed, so he commented under Adams’ post:
Other were left perplexed by McFarland’s comments.
“‘Philip Rivers doing a masterful job, controlling the game- throwing the ball, setting up the run. It’s nice to watch a hall of famer work tonight.’ – Booger McFarland, three snaps after Rivers threw a pick, one snap before he threw a pick,” one viewer pointed out.
“This may be my favorite Booger quote yet – ‘He may not be the best Tight End in the league…cause he’s not,’” another shared of Chargers tight end Hunter Henry.
The ESPN commentator doesn’t have the luxury of having Jason Witten alongside him anymore as he un-retired and went back to playing football for the Dallas Cowboys. He too found out every week that people did not like his commentary.
Not everybody is cut out for the booth naturally like Tony Romo.
