Florida offensive tackle Richard Gouraige reportedly will not participate in drills at the NFL Scouting Combine after he woke up with a swollen ankle, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This came about after undergoing the combine’s “pain tolerance test” during medical exams.
NFL Network later walked back the “pain test” comment, as the league instead said Gouraige went through a “typical physical exam.”

Per that report, he came into the combine healthy and had planned to do drills on Sunday but “now won’t be able to thanks to the situation caused during his medical exams.” It’s unclear how Gouraige not being able to participate in the drills will affect his draft stock.
The 6-foot-5, 306-pound big man is a versatile lineman who logged 42 starts combined at tackle and guard, though left tackle was his spot for the Gators these past two seasons.
In 2022, he tied his career low in sacks allowed (one) and gave up his second-fewest pressures in a starting campaign (14) while posting a career-high run-blocking grade (65.9).
Just last month, he went viral on social media after a woman exposed him for trying to talk to her while he is currently engaged to be married. It’s been a rough two months for the big guy. Hopefully, he can rebound.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
