Eli Manning is a genius for this.
The former New York Giants quarterback recently visited Penn State to record footage for an episode of Eli’s Places on ESPN+. Manning was there not just to announce a scholarship for punter Barney Amor, but to also try out as a walk-on at Penn State.
To do this, he underwent a full makeup session to fully disguise himself as ‘Chad Powers.’
Manning, who led his New York Giants to two improbable Super Bowl titles, announced his retirement back in 2020.
The son of longtime New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning and the brother of fellow NFL star Peyton Manning retired with 57,023 passing yards and 366 touchdowns, the most in Giants history. He appeared in two Super Bowls and four Pro Bowls.
