ESPN is in mourning on Super Bowl day as horrible news came down about the death of a longtime employee.
Dick Vitale had asked for prayers previously on former producer Barry Sacks after he had a heart attack. Things took a turn for the worst as he tragically lost his life.
“So sad to report that BARRY SACKS our dear friend & former colleague @espn has passed away this morning from the massive heart attack he suffered – Barry was so respected by all that knew him in the ESPN family . Always had such a passion about everything that he did. My heart & goes to his wife JoAnn & family. MAY HE RIP!” he announced.”
His heart attack on Saturday proved to be too much and he departed from this Earth on Sunday.
