Joe Thomas dropped some 50 pounds after retiring from the National Football League.
The future Hall of Fame offensive lineman looks like an entirely different person and it showed based on his performance in The Titan Games on Monday night.
Thomas stole the show as the series opened its second season.
The Rock, who hosts the show, revealed the six stars tasked with playing the role of the Titans.
- East: Tyron Woodley, UFC fighter; Hannah Teter, snowboarder
- Central: Claressa Shields, boxer; Joe Thomas, former NFL player
- West: Victor Cruz, former NFL player; Jessie Graff, stuntwoman
Thomas was the first Titan put to the test as he faced off with Matt Chan, a firefighter from Denver.
It literally came down to the wire.
Thomas would soon make easy work of Steven Shelby.
Thomas retired after a Hall of Fame-worthy 11-year career that saw him make the Pro Bowl 10 times and played over 10,000 consecutive snaps.
