When the season began, there were many who thought the Los Angeles Rams were a Super Bowl threat, thanks to the trade to get quarterback Matt Stafford.
The Rams impressed in a big way in beating up on the defending Super Bowl-champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Jalen Ramsey helped lift the Rams to a big 34-24 win.
He was wearing a mic during the game, so we got a first-hand look at his conversation with Tom Brady after the game.
“You played great. You were inches,” Brady said, referring to a play where Ramsey almost got to him on a blitz. “Keep it up.”
Ramsey replied, “Hold it a little bit longer next time,” to which Brady said “No, gotta get rid of that thing.”
“I respect you so much. I just love playing against you, man. It’s an honor, man. You’re the G.O.A.T. for real. Appreciate you,” Ramsey said.
