On Tuesday, FOX Sports officially unveiled its lead broadcast team for the 2022 NFL season.
Kevin Burkhardt will be taking over as FOX’s top play-by-play broadcaster after Joe Buck departed from the company. Also in the booth with Burkhardt wil be former NFL tight end Greg Olsen.
FOX’s lead reporters won’t change as Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi will provide all the latest updates from the sidelines.
Olsen released a brief statement regarding this news on his Twitter account.
“Humbled to be trusted with the biggest games on the biggest stage,” Olsen wrote. “Can’t wait to work with the entire A crew for what will be a memorable NFL season.”
Buck and Aikman bolted for ESPN and will be calling games for Monday Night Football.
FOX has already promised Tampa Bay Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady the top analyst job once he retires, giving the seven-time Super Bowl champion a record-setting, 10-year, $375 million deal, according to the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand.
