The Cleveland Browns were certainly the most hyped team during the offseason. It pretty much paved the way for an extreme let-down at some point during the season.
No one realized it would come during the first game.
After having a 6-3 lead after one quarter, the team would go on to get blown out 40-7 the rest of the way. Quarterback baker Mayfield did not help matters as he threw 3 interceptions on the day.
Following the game, head coach Freddie Kitchens sounded rather salty about that loss as he tried to claim it was just one game.
“It’s one game. I don’t care how it counts on the scoreboard.”

Someone should tell Kitchens that it’s only 16 games, and every single game matters.
