The Giants created a bit of cap space when they sent Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs. They are believed to be looking to another AFC West team for help at this position.
Jerry Jeudy is on the Giants’ radar, according to Fox Sports’ Ralph Vacchiano.
The former first-round pick has not been on the same page with Russell Wilson and just may need a change of scenery to revive his career. Giants head coach Brian Daboll coached Jeudy in his one year as Alabama’s offensive coordinator, in 2017.
Jeudy, the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, has 24 catches for 386 yards and two touchdowns so far in his third season for the Broncos.
The Broncos have made Jeudy available, but with the former first-round pick signed through 2023, the team will hold out for a high return. That return could be a second-round pick or multiple selections, an NFL exec told The Athletic’s Dan Duggan.
His performance on the field has thus far not lived up to the lofty expectations of being a first-round pick.
