Rayshawn Jenkins got an early shower today.
During his team’s week 11 contest against the San Francisco 49ers, the Jags safety was seen throwing punches at the opposing team and got ejected for his actions. The punch occurred while players from both teams engaged in a skirmish early on in the second quarter.
Perhaps the only smart thing about this decision from Jenkins was the fact that he went after a player who was without his helmet, rather than making the bonehead move we see so often and trying to punch a player with his helmet on.
For Rayshawn Jenkins, it was his fifth penalty of the season. That includes two taunting calls and two unnecessary roughness calls. The dude clearly lacks discipline, which seems to be a recurring theme with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
