Jets star safety Jamal Adams wants out of New York.
Adams not only informed his current team that he wants out, but he also asked the team to give him permission to seek a trade. The No. 6 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft is entering the fourth year of his rookie contract and he’s made it known that he wants to be paid.
It was then added that Adams already has seven teams he would welcome a trade to:
We can now add an 8th team after he told Ryan Clark that he would love to play for the Buccaneers and be reunited with former HC Todd Bowles.
The Buccaneers have had a need at safety, but they just used a second-round pick on Antoine Winfield Jr.
The Jets have yet to grant him permission to seek a trade out of New York and multiple reports have said that they aren’t interested in moving him.
The 24-year-old is coming off a 2019 campaign where he recorded 75 tackles, 6.5 sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles, one recovery, two defensive touchdowns and seven pass defenses.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
