The 2023 NFL season is near and we have been reminded of that after the recent release of joint practice between teams.
Joint practices are a chance for teams to go up against other competitors besides their own teammates. It also gives the players a taste of what a game situation will feel like. This type of practice is not mandatory by the league, but a lot of teams like to use it as a chance to try out plays and bring some extra intensity to the practice field.
Sometimes joint practices can even get a bit heated, with fights known to happen in the past. We will have to wait and see if this year will bring any more wild joint practice stories.
Here is a look at all the confirmed joint practices happening in 2023, along with the dates:
The Detroit Lions are slated to host the New York Giants. The Broncos and Los Angeles Rams are going to get quite familiar with each other.
The Saints are reportedly hosting the Texans for joint practices. The Titans will hold a pair of joint practices against the Patriots leading up to their preseason game in Nashville.
The Colts will also have joint practices with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The biggest one that may result in fights is the Raiders and the 49ers matching up with each other.
