About a week or so or go, ex-Raiders receiver Jordy Nelson officially announced his retirement after being cut by Oakland.
After being released by the Packers last offseason, Nelson signed a two-year, $15 million deal with the Raiders. However, Nelson did not play well in 2018, catching just 63 passes for 739 yards and three touchdowns.
The 33-year-old was a shell of his former self.
During a recent appaearance on The Dan Patrick Show, the former all-pro spoke about how the likelihood that he could return to football related activities if the Packers came calling:
He then turned his attention to the last team he played for and seemingly threw a shot at the Raiders as to why he isn’t on the roster any longer:
In his career, Nelson caught 613 passes for the Packers and Raiders, totaling 8,587 yards and 72 touchdowns.
