For starters, it’s no secret what they say about a man with small hands and feet. But as a quarterback, the issues with small hands go beyond that, as it often means less throwing power, less ability to grip the football in wet conditions, and more susceptibility to fumbles.
Unfortunately for Pitt prospect Kenny Pickett, he was hit with the “small hands” criticism when he measured out at 8 1/2 inches at the NFL combine in Indianapolis this week.
