Leonard Fournette is fortunate to be alive after he took to social media to reveal his car caught fire while he was driving, but the NFL free agent was unharmed.
Fournette posted a video to Instagram but did not provide details about why the car caught fire.
“Man, it was one of those days today but I thank God,” the former LSU star posted to Instagram. “My car caught on fire while I was driving……. But still blessed (praying emoji, heart emoji).”
Fournette was coming off his third year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2017 is still looking for his next team for the upcoming season.
In 2022, Fournette appeared in 16 games for the Buccaneers and rushed for 668 yards on 189 carries to go along with 73 receptions for 523 yards and six total touchdowns.
