Manti Te’o woke up this week merely minding his business and social media found a way to get his name trending in the news over an old story from his college days.
Over the weekend, ESPN aired a high school football game between powerhouse IMG Academy and Bishop Sycamore, who we have since found out is not a real school that has a head coach who is an active warrant for his arrest.
Te’o was brought into the situation because the the former Notre Dame linebacker made national headlines in 2012 and 2013 after his girlfriend was exposed to be a hoax. She didn’t exist just like this school really doesn’t exist.
