The Browns defensive end announced the news of his offseason drug test on Tuesday on social media. He couldn’t help but to think that the league saw his shirtless thirst trap on Instagram and decided to test him.
Garrett has been randomly drug-tested quite a bit since the start of the 2021 NFL season. The first time that he was drug tested came in early October when he noted that he had gone sleeveless just once and was asked to produce a sample.
He then tempted fate again a few weeks later and got another drug test.
A week after he went sleeveless again, he was tested yet again.
It was just earlier this week when Garrett hilarious stated that the league should give out rewards to players for testing negative so many times.
The Cleveland Browns underperformed relative to talent on the roster in 2021, once again finishing with a losing record and missing the playoffs.
Myles Garrett is one of, if not the, best edge rushers in the NFL and he is compensated as such as the former number one overall pick signed a 5-year contract extension worth $125 million.
All Garrett did was set the franchise single-season record for sacks (16.0) during the 2021 season.
