The Wonderlic test scores for NFL draft prospects are always a controversial issue. Every year, someone in the media reports the scores for the test, which purports to measure cognitive ability and aptitude.
This year is no different.
While the NFL no longer administers the Wonderlic as part of the testing process, several teams still embrace the test as part of their draft evaluation process.
Here are the scores as reported by Andrew Fillipponi of CBS Sports Radio.
Here’s how social media reacted:
Pickett is coming off an impressive 2021 season where he totaled 4,319 passing yards and 42 passing touchdowns in 13 games, finishing third in voting for the Heisman Trophy.
Corral is coming off an impressive year for the Rebels, finishing with 3,349 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions in 13 games. He also showcased his athleticism with 614 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. The quarterback finished seventh in voting for the Heisman Trophy after leading Ole Miss to 10 wins and a trip to the Sugar Bowl.
As you can see, both of them ended up at the bottom with their scores.
