Patrick Mahomes is coming to his brother Jackson’s defense after he was caught pouring water on a heckling Baltimore Ravens fan on Sunday.
Following Kansas City’s 36-35 loss against Baltimore, Jackson was recorded opening a bottle of water and pouring it on the head of a shouting Ravens fan.
The Kansas City Chiefs QB addressed that incident on Wednesday.
“Obviously, it’s something we don’t want to necessarily do,” he said, via ESPN’s Adam Teicher. “[But] there were things that were said to him and [Patrick’s fiancée Brittany Matthews] that you don’t see on the clip.
“He’s been good at trying not to respond to that stuff. He takes a lot and he’s usually pretty good at it and he’ll learn from it and try to stay away from those people as best he can.”
Mahomes didn’t state what happened with his brother and fiancée. Jackson has not offered any apologies, so something more likely must have been said that we will never know about.
