On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs officially signed Jamaal Charles to a one-day contract to retire as a member of the franchise.
Before the 4-time pro bowler headed off into the sunset, Charles came into Chiefs practice and was handed the ball from QB Patrick Mahomes one final time.
Just in case people forgot how special he used to be on the field:
Charles had 7,563 rushing yard and five 1,000-yard seasons, averaging 5.4 yards per carry, for each of his 1,407 career carries.
