This is Amazon’s world and we are all just living in it.
Amazon is in the beginning stages of developing studio programs in hopes of potentially having a full daily lineup, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.
Their goal is reportedly to have a full daily lineup that would rival ESPN, FOX Sports or NFL Network. Amazon are reportedly in talks with Embassy Row, the production company for such hit shows as Good Morning Football and Men In Blazers.
Marchand noted in his report that Amazon going with Embassy Row probably means it isn’t looking to challenge debate-style shows like First Take and Undisputed for those morning viewers.
There is no formal signed agreement between Amazon and Embassy Row yet.
Next season, Amazon Prime Video will become the exclusive home to “Thursday Night Football.” Not only that, they are one of the leading contenders to win the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket, which allows fans to watch their favorite out-of-town teams.
