Reporters may have even more questions for Bruce Arians after this latest report.
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reported on Tuesday that friends of Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown were worried about the pain he was experiencing with his ankle and told him to meet with a top surgeon.
Brown reportedly visited that doctor to have his MRI. Stroud says that while Brown is known for having a “high pain threshold,” the belief is that he probably should never have been on the field for Sunday’s game against the Jets.
As you know, Brown removed his unifrom on the sidelines, tossed his shirt and gloves into the stands before running towards the end zone and making his exit. The Buccaneers could suspend Brown for conduct detrimental to the team before officially waiving him.
Now that his season is done with the Bucs, his final numbers are 42 catches for 545 yards (13.3 YPC) and four touchdowns.
