Ryan Clark didn’t have to say this, but it sure was hilarious.
Into the fourth quarter Monday night, CeeDee Lamb hadn’t done much, especially after he dropped an enormous catch in the first half against the New York Giants.
When the Cowboys needed him most in the fourth quarter, Lamb came alive when he got loose for 26 yards down to the 1-yard line. Then he made a remarkable touchdown catch, pulling in a Cooper Rush pass with one hand and tapping his toes in bounds.
Following the game, ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark brought up Lamb’s girlfriend and that now-viral moment from the NFL draft.
“This is the same left hand that took the phone from his girlfriend during the draft,” he joked.
This was that moment:
CeeDee Lamb caught eight of his 12 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown in Monday’s 23-16 win over the Giants in Week 3.
