Davante Adams, who was visibly frustrated after the Raiders’ tough 30-29 loss to the Chiefs on Monday night, unfortunately, took his anger out on a photographer.
The Raiders star has issued an official apology for his actions, but it’s still going to cost him, according to Shannon Sharpe.
Sharpe believes this incident will cost Adams $250,000.
“This is about to be the most expensive shove of his life,” Sharpe said on Undisputed. “I’m sure he’ll never have this outburst again because it’ll cost him a quarter of a million dollars… Hopefully he learns that at all times we must keep our emotions in check.”
The NFL has yet to decide on a punishment for Davante Adams. But he will likely face a fine and possibly a suspension.
“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this,” said Adams.
The Raiders, meanwhile, are 1-4 to start the 2022 season.
