The Pittsburgh Steelers were coming off a huge victory in week one against the Bengals, but things have been tough for them against the New England Patriots in week two.
QB Mitch Trubisky entered the 3rd quarter with less than 100 yards passing and he’s getting roasted online for one throw in particular.
At the end of the first half, Trubisky tried to show off his arm on a Hail Mary, but he couldn’t get it anywhere close to the end zone. Despite the line of scrimmage being the Steelers’ own 45-yard-line, the Steelers QB couldn’t even reach the Patriots’ 10-yard line.
The pass was unleashed from the Steelers’ 35-yard line, meaning it barely traveled over 50 yards. That’s not exactly the type of arm strength (or lack thereof) you want from your starting quarterback.
Perhaps it’s not too early to consider getting Kenny Pickett in there?
