The customary White House invite for teams winning the championship has been a hot topic discussion ever since Donald Trump took office, with many players and teams opting to forego the chance to go to Washington.
Travis Kelce is not one of those people.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was recently tracked down by TMZ Sports and asked if he would be heading to meet with President Donald Trump.
“Oh, yeah! Always, man!” Kelce said Wednesday. “Crazy opportunity!”
He also defended his decision to go on Twitter:
Head coach Andy Reid along with Tyreek Hill and Bashaud Breeland have already confirmed they’ll be visiting the White House.
It was Trump who infamously congratulated the state of Kansas after the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers, seemingly unaware that Kansas City was located in Missouri.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
